Every year, Anne Fontaine dedicates one day to the Tropical Forests. The objective is to raise funds to plant trees in the Mata Atlântica. That day, 50% of the sales in the 72 privately held Anne Fontaine stores worldwide are donated to the Anne Fontaine Foundation.
The Forest Day is the occasion to alert everyone around the world about the endangered rainforests and to collaborate with artists inspired by nature and/or producing with recycled materials.
Every year, initiatives are taken that day : Artworks are featured in stores (Boston, Paris, Chicago…), a piano concert was organized in Soho, 60 women from Bank of America attended a party in Madison (New York), etc.
