Global News: The Largest and Oldest Trees are Disappearing
On the 6th of December, three of the world’s leading ecologists published an article in Science on a shilling phenomenon: the loss of large old trees in forests in many ecosystems worldwide. From Sweden to California, Australia to Brazil, large old trees are declining in number in forests at all latitudes.
